John Raleigh is a Wealth Advisor working remotely from Florida serving clients in Anchorage, Alaska and beyond.
John’s sole focus is on helping his clients achieve their financial goals—supporting them as they work toward the retirement they envision. Throughout the financial planning process, he listens to their needs, gains a clear understanding of their unique strengths and challenges, and identifies opportunities for growth and improvement. With his guidance, clients can focus on what truly matters most in their lives.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, John gained wealth management experience at IDS Financial Services/American Express Financial Advisors and Summit Financial Group before joining Shilanski & Associates in 2017.
John, his wife Jill, and their two amazing dogs—Winnie and Gracie Joy—have made their home in Sarasota. In their free time, they enjoy boating, traveling, and exploring the wonderful things life has to offer. He also actively supports the community as a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and past president of the Board of Directors for both the Humane Society of Sarasota County and Meals on Wheels of Sarasota.
