Educational & Licensing Requirements

The 3 R's nd the 4 C's
We foster an environment of perpetual learning. Each of our team members must be committed to knowing their 3 R's and 4 C's.
The 3 R's: Reading, Writing and Arithmetic.
The 4 C's: Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking and Coding / Computer Science.
Need a little more guidance? No problem, allow us to clarify.
Creativity: Clients are not "Accounts" to our firm. They are human beings with families and lives that they have worked hard to create. When they entrust our organization to work with them, they count on us to bring creative solutions to the table that are appropriate for them and their family. A "one size fits all" approach doesn't fit here.
Communication: verbally, electronically, formally.. you have to be able to effectively communicate. The entire team needs to work harmoniously for the benefit of those in which we serve and communication on a plethora of platforms is imperative.
Critical Thinking: you do not have to have the right solution to every problem, but you have to have "a" solution. Our team members are encouraged to be problem solvers assessing every scenario. We practice the "7 generations" mentality of thinking: how will this choice impact the future?
Coding / Computer Science: our team members have to be computer savvy and not tech dependent. You do not have to have a background in computer science or coding but you have to be computer literate. You have to be to move fluidly at the speed of life.
SEC and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc.'s Background Check
All team members must be able to successfully pass an industry thorough background check. Prior to employment all employees are fingerprinted and a background check is conducted to ensure that the employees that join our team exercising the highest levels of professional and personal conduct in accordance with State and Federal laws.
Professional Licensing Designations
Not all team members who join our firm need professional licensing for introductory level positions. We also provide educational opportunities for those seeking to advance their careers.
However, if you are already working in the financial industry here are some licensing designations relevant to our particular industry:
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBC)
- Registered ParaPlanner
- Series 7, 6, 63, 66, 24
- Life & Health Insurance License
At this time, our firm does not require team members to have a College degree because, well... college is not necessarily for everyone.
But that does not mean that we do not require an unprecedented commitment to education. If you exhibit anything shy of a willingness to learn, we are not the right firm for you.
