Shilanski and Associates, Inc. (SAAI), is an independently owned, full service registered investment advisory firm. Created in July 1978, SAAI offers highly individualized professional and comprehensive investment advisory services for individual investors, small business plans, and insurance company products.

SAAI’s staff of investment professionals is dedicated to the creation of lasting relationships by exceeding client expectations for both performance and service. We accomplish this goal through a collegial system for portfolio decisions. Meeting every Monday and Friday morning, all available managers review individual client files and provide comments based on their special areas of knowledge. This method enables the staff to work, as a team to ensure the current, or proposed, strategy for a client is indeed a suitable course of action. Nor do we rely only on our in house knowledge. Our President, Mr. Floyd Shilanski is a member of the H.S. Dent Advisory Network and as such is closely associated with Mr. Dent and his investment philosophies. Finally, SAAI is not captive to any firm, market sector or type of investment. We devote considerable time and effort in learning to know each client and family. We then tailor our investment, estate planning and general tax strategy recommendations to suit the specific goals and objectives of the client.
